Welcome to the Regis Spot!

What's up fellow Regians! It's VJ and Joel here coming to you guys with the latest on what's been going on with the Student Government.

Okay, honestly there isn't much to be said in this first update because the whole corona situation has made it hard to track the government's plans. However, when we return to Regis this fall (hopefully as your new President and V.P.), we'll update this blog with information on the ideas the Student Government discusses. Secretive things should remain as secrets, but general information is not being spread as much as it should be. The student government should be more open to suggestions than it already is, and we think informing the crowd they work for will be highly beneficial. More transparency is best for all of us, unless it ruins intentional surprises, of course.
The purpose of this blog is to promote shared knowledge of event planning. Those not in the student government still deserve to be in the loop. If the administration prevents us from sharing the information, then the info. will be withheld. However, we believe that Regians shouldn't be kept completely in the dark and will argue for this.

With all that being said, we wanted to share the timeline for student government elections with you guys:

We believe that Regians deserve the right to know what is going on, and the rest of the student government seems to advocate for this as well. They do open their meetings to the whole school, technically, so they likely want us students to know their plans as well. We will promote this belief more than ever before starting with blog posts as updates for such plans. Best of luck to everyone else running!

Regis needs VJ and J: Vote to fling us to a better tomorrow!
